Nintendo Wii previews have always tried to give you, the prospective buyer a better idea of what to expect from the console. You may have loved them or hated them but could certainly never ignore them. This is because though some of the previews may have been cynical and some too eloquent, the facts about the Wii were always mentioned per se.

Most Nintendo Wii previews give you a bird’s eye view of the console by listing the advantages and disadvantages in a broad manner. So how do most Wii previews look like? Well, read on if you want to know.

Starting off with the advantages, the design features will definitely be mentioned. Its small size and light weight gets lots of praise. Then there is the motion sensing and detection features in the controller which takes gameplay to a whole new level. The feature of backward compatibility with Gamecube software also wins a lot of brownie points with the critics. The SD card feature also gets a favorable mention.

Next in line will be the gaming experience is really the ‘novelty’ factor in the Wii. Nintendo Wii previews will be particularly kind on the level of interaction between the user and the AI, the game provides. So video games do not mean an unhealthy ‘couch-centric’ lifestyle anymore. You actually have a good work out and great relaxation at the same time. So you can play a guitar like your favorite rockstar would or swing the golf club like Tiger Woods!

The internet connectivity and WiiConnect 24 are also worth special mention.

Moving on to the disadvantages, you can be sure that the first thing to be mentioned in Nintendo Wii previews will be the battery life. Well don’t be surprised, but we are talking about the battery life of the dynamic and wireless Wii remote. And because it is so dynamic, the energy consumption can go through the roof. So you may need to charge it frequently. Also the basic Wii package comes with only one remote and thus if you want multiplayer gaming sessions then you have to buy a new one separately.

The graphics and sound will also take a beating because this is where the Wii literally falls flat on its face. With powerhouse competitors like Sony and Microsoft making amazing graphics and cutting edge sound technology the hallmark of their consoles, Nintendo had some serious catching up to do. And the Nintendo Wii previews will most definitely tell you that they have failed.

Although you may want to take a sneak peek into different Nintendo Wii previews, it’s best advised that you use your own judgment before you get the latest Wii console.
