There’s still very little known about Nintendo’s strategy for their peculiar Vitality Sensor peripheral, but a new trademark filing for PAL territories may have given us this much: the title of the doohickey’s first compatible game. Siliconera reports ( via Kotaku) that “WiiRelax” has popped up in the European trademark database, which certainly sounds like the name for a Vitality Sensor game. The device clamps to the player’s index finger to read their pulse, and when the Vitality Sensor debuted at E3 earlier this year, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata explained that, “Games have been used for stimulation, but maybe it won’t be long until games are used for relaxation and even to fall asleep.” An interesting sidenote to this filing is that back in April, Italian video developer Pub Company announced their own Wii game that was also titled “Wii Relax” (albeit with a space in between the words)
