More Details on Green Day Rock Band
Following the announcement of Green Day Rock Band during the Spike TV VGAs last night, Harmonix and MTV Games issued a press release with a few extra details on the forthcoming music game. While specific songs and albums that’ll be featured in the game still weren’t revealed, Harmonix promises the game will span “Green Day’s most-defining albums and key moments throughout their career to date.” And whatever songs end up being in the game, one nice bit of good news is that Green Day Rock Band will include a key feature sorely missing in The Beatles Rock Band : the ability to export the soundtrack to other versions of Rock Band you might own. “We’ve worked with the Rock Band team in the past year to enable our fans to play tracks from 21st Century Breakdown, and we’re excited to now be working on a game, spanning our entire career,” said Billie Joe Armstrong.
