Netflix has been confirmed for the Nintendo Wii, making the service available on all three consoles and pretty much every Internet-enabled media box under the sun. But while Nintendo’s box can largely keep up with the likes of the Xbox 360 and PS3 in terms of streaming content, it’ll be lacking a big feature — high-definition content. Speaking with CNBC (via Siliconera ) though, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime downplayed the lack of high-definition streaming, “First, off and I’m sure Reed [CEO of Netflix] would support this is, the vast majority of content that is available for streaming through Netflix is not HD content.
