Snake Beats Mario, Is Coolest Video Game Character Ever
There’s no doubting it any longer — Snake, hero of the Metal Gear Solid series, is the best character of all time. So said the readers of Famitsu magazine, who voted earlier this year on which video-game hero (or anti-hero) they liked the most. Snake beat out such noted video game icons as Mario, Link, and even Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Strife (gasp!) to take the top spot.
