Dragon Quest and DS Top Last Week’s Japanese Sales Charts

After a big week for the PSP in Japan two weeks ago, the DS saw another solid performance last week (in Japan! ). Media Create sales numbers (via CVG ) for May 3 – May 9 show that, while total sales of the PSP (including both Go and non-Go versions) dropped from 61,205 units to 36,697, the DS (Lite, DSi, and XL) increased slightly from 45,265 to 46,393, good enough for first place. The PSP took second place, followed by the Wii with 31,399 units sold, a small bump over the prior week’s total of 30,757
