Nintendo to Sue Flash Cart Seller
Continuing its decades-long war on piracy , Nintendo announced today that it is filing suit against the owners of an online business accused of selling “illegal game copiers.” According to a statement received by 1UP minutes ago, Nintendo is filing suit against the owner of a business called NXPGAME, which is selling devices that allow users to play illegally downloaded games for the Nintendo DS and Wii consoles. Nintendo says that the owner of the site relented after “multiple letters and telephone calls” and shut down his business, only to relaunch an identical business at a new web address.
