Square Enix has just released their financial results for the last year, and it’s been a record-breaking year for the company. According to the investor relations report, Square Enix achieved 27.8 billion yen (roughly $300 million) in profits during the fiscal year ending March 2010 — a new all-time high for the company. Square Enix also moved a record total of 26.66 million games worldwide during fiscal 2009, with major releases like Dragon Quest IX , Final Fantasy XIII , and Batman: Arkham Asylum accounting for a great deal of the publisher’s increased profits.
