The gaming industry’s annual foray into media spectacle brings with it game demonstrations, hands-on time, interviews with developers, and of course, carefully crafted trailers. These are made explicitly to warm up your wallet for the coming retail onslaught, and more often than not they succeed. In a perfect world, every 1UP reader could attend E3 and try out the games themselves — but we’re pretty sure management would get suspicious if we requested thousands upon thousands of “press” passes
