Someone claiming to have been a former contractor at Bungie seemingly leaked the first details on Bungie’s next project today. The developer has denied that anyone has been laid off recently, which casts doubt on the story told by the source, including the suggestion that Bungie is developing an MMOFPS. That said, the pieces do seem to fit together — between certain comments from Bungie staff and the description of certain positions it was looking to fill last year, an MMO of some sort makes sense

As noted earlier today, Telltale Games has gone ahead and made the news official: It has come to a deal with Robert Kirkman to create multiple videogames based on comic book series The Walking Dead . It’s a “multi-year, multi-platform, multi-title” deal that will see the first game released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2011, IGN reports. Telltale is best known for its line of adventure games based on various properties — Sam & Max , Strong Bad , Wallace & Gromit , Monkey Island and, most recently, Back to the Future
